Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Score Pro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the developer of Score Pro ("we", "us", "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Score Pro. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your password and account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@scorepro.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings; we may also delete or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Free and Paid Tiers

Score Pro offers a free tier with limited live-streaming usage (currently 3 free streams per account, lifetime) and may offer paid Pro / Club subscriptions with expanded features. Pricing, limits, and features may change with at least 30 days’ advance notice in-app or via email.

5. Live Streaming and User Content

Score Pro allows you to capture, score, and broadcast live cricket matches. You retain ownership of any video, audio, scorecards, team data, or other content you create ("User Content").

• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display your User Content solely as needed to operate the App and the live-streaming and shareable-scorecard features.
• You are solely responsible for your User Content. Do not stream or broadcast anything you do not have the right to share, including others' likenesses without consent where required by local law.
• We may remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe violates applicable law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate any person or entity.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or anything designed to disrupt the App.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where permitted by law.
• Use the App to collect or harvest personal information about other users.
• Bypass any access controls, rate limits, or paywalls.

7. Third-Party Services

Score Pro relies on third-party services to function, including Firebase (authentication, database), Google AdMob (advertising in the free tier), and api.video (live RTMP streaming infrastructure). Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Intellectual Property

The App itself, including its design, logos, trademarks, source code, and original content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT STREAMS, SCORES, OR USER DATA WILL ALWAYS BE PRESERVED.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $25.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your use of the App, (b) your User Content, or (c) your violation of these Terms or any law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using the App at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 5–11, 13–15) will survive.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above will reflect the most recent change. If the changes are material, we will notify you in-app or via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and we agree that any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in India, except where prohibited by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you have under the laws of your country of residence, including rights under the GDPR (EEA/UK users), COPPA (US users under 13), or applicable consumer protection laws.
